Has Me A Riddle

In my searches for an image for my latest poem, I was reminded of this fun little ditty. Aww, Van Morrison – good times. :-)   Van Morrison – Moondance

I had this riddle fiddling in my mind.

A Question of Chirality by Dave Barstow

22 My Riddle

I didn’t realize the name equation equaled;
exactly 22.

All this time,
they have been written upon my skull,
tattooed in my temporal lobe -
sketched into my aorta.

Swimming and,
giggling at me.

Balance,
my balance there all along -
your letters twined in mine,
drop the zero left with 222.

22 letters,
magnificent they are,
glowing tracers upon this earth,
swirling passed grand stars.

And so we met me a 20;
you a 22 -
all in a name I say;
calculations -
sphenic number;
clear as day,
in between my eyes.

So it seems…

2′s all around -
dancing in my nighttime skies.
Enantiomorphous orbs,
balancing the tightrope of 2(22).

I have this song stuck in my head at the moment. Not sure why, most likely because I needed to do a happy dance.
